DDownload Daily Limit: What Free and Premium Users Should Know
The daily traffic allowance is one of the most important differences between occasional free use and the current paid DDownload plan. The key number for Premium / Ultimate is up to 200 GB per day.

The current paid plan lists up to 200 GB of daily download traffic. This is a data allowance, not a limit on the number of files. For example:
- 10 files × 5 GB = 50 GB
- 20 files × 5 GB = 100 GB
- 10 files × 20 GB = 200 GB
If you run large JDownloader queues, check the total size before starting so you know roughly how much of the daily allowance the queue will consume.
Do free accounts have a published 200 GB allowance?
No. The free experience is much more restrictive in practice because of low speed, waiting steps and verification. I do not recommend assigning an invented 1–2 GB “hard limit” to free accounts because DDownload does not clearly publish such a fixed figure on the current plan page.
When does the daily allowance reset?
The current public plan information does not give a reset time that I would treat as guaranteed. Avoid planning a large queue around an assumed midnight reset or a specific server timezone.
What if you regularly need more than 200 GB?
For most personal use, 200 GB in one day is substantial. If your normal workflow exceeds that amount repeatedly, DDownload may simply not be the right fit for that workload. Buying a longer subscription does not change the practical need to manage the daily traffic allowance.
Bottom line
For Premium users, the useful number to remember is up to 200 GB/day. For free users, the more immediate limitations are speed and waiting rather than a clearly published daily hard cap.
